A quick post today - all about Winterkist.
I had been watching and waiting for Winterkist for months - it was on Fat Quarter Shop's 'coming soon' list for ages.
Then the email alert came, and I pounced.

This very happy fabric bonanza arrived earlier this week. I love the colours, the designs and the super cute gnomas.
I saw Winterkist online about the same time I saw Aneela Hoey's Bloom quilt pattern, and I figured they would make an awesome match - I'm thinking a blue gnoma peeking out of the centre, rings of red, orange, pink and green, all sewn onto Madrona Road graphite haystack. And the back? - the black and white gnomas!!

Monica is such a clever designer and she has such a great sense of humour. I love all her projects, particularly the Ron Swanson quilt I am oh-so-slowly making. Click across to take a look at Monica's Ron quilt, on her always-awesome blog The Happy Zombie.
